How do you verify my identity online?

We have contracted with one of the largest vendors that specializes in identity verification. The process utilizes information that is gathered from national databases, including credit repositories. Even though information from your credit report may be utilized, it does not create a hard inquiry. This information is presented to you in the form of a multiple choice quiz.

What happens after I’m finished with the online application process?

Once you have completed the application process online, all the disclosures and information collected is then forwarded to the bank. We will review the information, set up your account, and contact you with any follow up questions, additional information needed, or to provide you with your online banking credentials and other necessary information about your account. You should be contacted within 1-2 business days of completing your application.

I got an error message. What do I do?

We are not notified when you receive an error message. Our support hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm (CT), except on holidays when the bank is closed. If possible, please take a screenshot of the error you received or write down any information it contains and let us know about it by calling 918-256-7811 or by using the Contact Us link on our website. If you receive an error message and submit the message details to us through our website contact form, we will follow up with you on the following business day.

Do I have to fund the account today?

Yes, we require an ACH transaction to fund the account as part of the online process. Each account type has minimum and maximum requirements. If you desire to add additional funds to your account, you will be contacted with instructions on how to do so after your account is set up.

 I wasn’t able to finish my application. How do I continue?

If you were unable to finish your application, you should have received an email containing a continuation link. If you did not receive it or if you cannot find it, please contact the bank and new one can be sent to you.

I don’t see the type of account listed that I want to open. Where can I find it?

At this time, we are only offering Ease Checking, Statement Savings, and the Easy Access Money Market accounts. If you are interested in other account products, please contact one our friendly New Account Representatives and they will work hard to accommodate you. Please note, depending on the type of account desired, it may not be possible to complete the entire process via phone.

Why should I open a checking account?

Is the money in my checking account insured?

Yes, FNB checking accounts are FDIC insured up to $250,000.00

How does my debit card work with my checking account?

A debit card is linked directly to your checking account, so when you make a purchase with your FNB debit card, that amount is deducted immediately from your account

How do I view my checking account activity?

You can view your checking account activity the following ways: Sign on to FNB Netteller, UseFNB's mobile app.(must be enrolled in Netteller), Sign-up for E-statement or check your monthly statement you receive in the mail, Call FNB's Freedom Line 877-256-7537 or Visit a branch.

How secure is my financial information?

FNB uses state-of-the-art technology to ensure your information is kept safe. We deliver a secure environment through a variety of methods, such as encryption, firewalls and customer- controlled passwords.

What do I do If my debit card is lost or stolen?

Report the incident as soon as possible by contacting 1-800-791-2525. If you have potential fraudulent transactions call Fraud Prevention at 1-866-842-5208.

How does a certificate of deposit of work?

When an investor purchases a certificate of deposit, FNB guarantees a rate of return based upon the amount of the CD and the length of the term. If the term is 12 months, the money remains locked in the CD for that period of time.

How safe are CDs?

The FDIC insures CDs up to $250,000. per account owner.

Can purchasing a certificate of deposit improve my credit score?

In general, purchasing a certificate of deposit will not improve your credit score. It may, however, be benificial if you are applying for a loan, as it can be listed as collateral.

Is a certificate of deposit a good place to keep emergency money?

Yes, CD typically pay a higher rate of interest than savings accounts. And the fact that the money is locked into the CD until the maturity date prevents most people from using their emergency funds for non-emergency purchases. Just remember that if the CD is redeemed prior to the maturity date that a penalty might be incurred.
